The Art Kitchen is a mission-based creative arts enterprise that brings to the world major works of art and cutting-edge design by artist-activist, Gabrielle Senza and other recognized artists. Working side-by-side with professional aritsts, The Art Kitchen provides unique opportunities for marginalized adolescents and teens to work in a thriving studio environment as a Key Team Player in a promising economic model for creativity.
Today is the first day of the Art Kitchen’s online existence and to celebrate, we are introducing our FIRST edition of silkscreened prints silkscreened by Key Team Player, Cora Baker!
Here’s your opportunity to celebrate our online launch and support the amazing Red Collaborative arts initiative at the same time. Founded in 2001 by Gabrielle Senza, Red Collaborative’s mission is to empower abuse survivors and raise public awareness to the need for social change through community-based public art projects.
From her Seeing Red series, the print features one of Gabrielle Senza’s signature images - simply the word “Seeing” in Arial Black typeface - printed in red ink on 30 lb Sennelier white wove paper measuring 10 x 10 inches. This crisp edition of “Seeing” is limited to 100 prints signed and numbered by the Artist.
Offered for the first time, here, at the ArtKichen Blogspot, the first 25 prints are available for $25 each, with 50% of each sale going directly to support Red Collaborative’s Creative Initiatives on Tough Issues.
